This year the US OPEN Capoeira Tournament will take place at the Boys & Girls Club of San Francisco at the Columbia Park division on 450 Guerrero Street. This facility is located between 17th and 18th streets, and it is about 4 blocks form the 16th & Mission Bart station. Muni also serves this area. The registration deadline is Friday, May 11th, 2007 at midnight. This year we are not accepting late registrations, no exception. This is a point that I emphasized a lot last year: late registration make it difficult to organize the game brackets and for the shirt orders. So plan ahead and register on time.
One of the highlights of last year’s event was the organization. So in order to keep things running on time and make another successful organized event we are limiting the number of participants/players. Again, the earlier you register, the better.
Registration Fees:
For players in the games category: $35. each
For players in the music category: $30. each
For players participating in more than one category, for example: game and solo,
or game and music - $45. each
Day at the event at the door for the public: $10.
